Frequently asked questions

Short answers to common player questions, with links to detailed guides.

For other questions, ask in 「質問箱」, the question channel on Discord.

Joining and connecting

Where is the server address?

It is not published on this site. Join Discord and complete verification to receive the connection details for your edition, Java or Bedrock.

See Getting started.

Can I play on Switch, a phone, or PlayStation through Bedrock?

Yes. Use the Bedrock address provided on Discord; it differs from Java’s address.

Consoles such as Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox may not support adding external servers directly, requiring extra platform-specific steps. See joining the server.

I was disconnected on my first connection

This is expected. Within 5 minutes, submit the 4-digit code from the disconnect screen using 「認証コードを入力」 in Discord’s #認証 channel. Once verified, reconnect.

See joining the server.

I was suddenly disconnected or cannot connect

Check for scheduled downtime around 04:00 daily, 05:00 on Sundays, or 06:30 on the first day of the month, all in Japan Standard Time.

Java requires Minecraft 26.2 or later. If the launcher uses an older version, switch to Latest Release.

Bedrock may fail to connect when its app version is incompatible. Check for the latest game update.

See Maintenance and connection problems.

Your first few days

These answers cover common questions when you are new.

Do I start with money?

No. Your starting balance is 0 Spa Coins.

Use /jobs browse to take a job and start saving for a home.

See The economy.

Where should I keep my items or base before Lv1?

At Lv0 you can enter the Resource World and Resource Server 2. For a temporary base, use the Resource World, which does not reset weekly, and lock each valuable chest with /bolt lock or /lock.

Reach Lv1 with 30 active minutes and 5 advancements to enter the Building World and protect land there.

See Player levels and Chest locks.

Does changing worlds change my inventory?

No. Inventory is shared across all worlds, so you can carry items between them.

Items in a chest remain in that chest’s world. Take them into your inventory before traveling from a resource world to the Building World.

Does everyone need to sleep to skip the night?

Only 1 player needs to sleep in a bed. Others may stay awake.

Trying to sleep in the Resource Nether or Resource End causes the bed to explode.

What is the difficulty?

Normal. Monsters spawn at night and in dark areas, and starvation can damage you.

PVP is disabled in every world.

Levels and worlds

Why can I not enter the Building World?

It requires Lv1: both 30 active minutes and 5 advancements. Check your progress with /level.

See Player levels.

Why is my playtime not increasing while connected?

Standing still or only walking does not count. Activities such as breaking or placing blocks and jumping count as active play.

See how active playtime is counted.

How do I reach the Resource Nether or Resource End?

At Lv1, use the lobby’s west plate for the Resource Nether or north plate for the Resource End. Resource World Nether portals also reach the Resource Nether. Neither dimension is in the phone’s travel menu.

See Worlds and travel.

How do I reach Resource Server 2?

Choose 「資源サーバー2へ」 in the phone’s travel menu or enter /mv tp resource2. It allows Lv0 and has no lobby pressure plate.

It is regenerated with the Resource End every Sunday morning. Bring your items home before anything left there is removed.

See Resource Server 2.

May I bring villagers to the Building World with Transport Eggs?

Yes. You can use them for shops and other purposes. Buy eggs in /shop.

See Transport Eggs.

How do I return to the lobby?

Use /lobby or /l. You cannot return during the 5 seconds immediately after monster combat.

Why was I automatically moved to the lobby?

After at least 10 minutes without activity outside the lobby, you are moved to its starting point. See idle-player travel for returning to your previous location.

Are return locations saved separately for the Building and Resource Worlds?

The last place you left is saved separately for the Building World, Resource World, and Resource Server 2 when you re-enter them. This is separate from your bed respawn point.

Resource Nether and Resource End do not use this system. See re-entering worlds.

Will re-entering a world take me back to where I died?

Dying in the Building World, Resource World, or Resource Server 2 clears that world’s saved return location. When you leave a world after respawning, your location at that time is saved again.

To return near where you died, use a Return Charm.

Where does a Return Charm take me?

It takes you near your own most recent death location, even from another world. Hold it in your main hand and right-click. One charm is consumed when travel succeeds.

Travel can fail if there is no safe footing nearby or other conditions are not met. Recovering your items is not guaranteed. See Return Charm usage and conditions.

Can I return to my base quickly?

Stand at your base and save it with /sethome home, then return with /home home. Regular players can register up to 2 homes. Registering or updating a home costs 100 Spa Coins; traveling costs 2.

Traveling to a named home takes you to that home, even if a previous exit location is saved.

See homes.

Money and jobs

How do I earn money?

Taking a job and mining, farming, or doing other eligible work is the main method. Shops, auctions, and friend invitations also earn money. Login rewards give items.

See The economy.

Can I have several jobs? Does switching erase levels?

You can have only 1 job at a time, but may switch whenever you like. Each job keeps its own level, which resumes when you return.

See Jobs.

Why am I not receiving job rewards?

The lobby and creative mode do not pay. Breaking blocks you placed yourself or reaching the hourly limit can also prevent rewards.

See reduced or missing job rewards.

Is there a bulk-selling command such as /sell?

No. Sell items through player shops or auctions.

Protecting land and belongings

How do I protect land?

Claims work only in the Building World, from Lv1. Right-click opposite corners with a golden shovel. /claimshovel gives you one per day.

See Land protection.

How do I protect a chest in a resource world?

Run /bolt lock or /lock, then click the chest to protect that individual chest.

See Chest locks.

What should I do about griefing or theft?

Use /co inspect to see who interacted with the location. Do not confront or expose them; send what you found to staff with /feedback.

See Investigating griefing and player disputes.

Can items lost on death be returned?

Your items go into a grave where you died. Right-click it within 15 minutes to recover them. Items lost after expiry are generally not compensated or returned.

See Graves and responsibility and recovery rules.

Rules

May I build automated machines?

Fully automatic machines are prohibited. Semi-automatic machines that need player input, such as a button press, are allowed if they do not disrupt the economy.

See Automation.

May I gather resources or use materials from landscaping in the Building World?

Gather resources in the dedicated resource worlds. Digging or cutting trees in the Building World just to gather resources, without a building plan, is prohibited.

You may discard dirt, stone, and wood removed while preparing land for construction, use them for landscaping, filling, or building, or sell them.

See the resource gathering rules.

May I stream or upload videos to YouTube?

Yes. Be considerate of other players.

See streaming and publishing.

Getting help

How do I contact staff or ask for a decision?

Use /report on Discord when you need a reply. It creates a private conversation visible only to you and the administrator.

To send a bug report or suggestion without a reply, use /feedback message in game. It goes only to staff, not global chat. Staff do not reply through /feedback.

Why can I not use a command?

Availability depends on your level and location. Check /help for available commands and /level for your level.

See the command reference.
