Friends

Becoming friends gives two players a private shared chest and the ability to teleport to each other.

This is separate from friend invitations, which reward you for inviting someone to the server. You can use /friends in place of /friend in every command below.

Becoming friends

Send a request, then have the other player accept it.

1. Send a request with /friend add <name>

Enter this command in chat, using the other player’s name.

/friend add <player>

The other player must be online. For a Bedrock player, put . at the beginning of their name, as in /friend add .Name.

Requests expire after 5 minutes (300 seconds) or when the server restarts. If you already have a request from that player, sending one back with /friend add completes the friendship immediately.

2. Accept with /friend accept [name]

The recipient enters this command to accept.

/friend accept [player]

If you have only 1 pending request, you can omit the name and use /friend accept. To decline, use /friend deny [player].

Cost and friend limit

When the friendship is completed, each player pays 500 Spa Coins.

Sending a request does not charge you. If either player lacks the required balance, the friendship is not completed and neither is charged. The sender must still have at least 500 Spa Coins to send a request.

Each player can have up to 10 friends. A friendship also cannot be completed if the other player already has 10 friends.

Using the shared chest

Enter this command to open your shared chest with that friend.

/friend chest <player>

Each pair of friends gets a dedicated 27-slot chest, the size of a single chest, accessible from anywhere in the world.

Both players can open it at the same time. An item removed by one immediately disappears from the other’s view. Contents are saved whenever items are moved and when the screen closes. Your personal inventories are not shared.

Teleporting to a friend

Enter this command to teleport to your friend’s location.

/friend tp <player>

Your friend must be online. No separate approval is required: becoming friends counts as allowing these teleports.

Stay still for 3 seconds after running the command to teleport. Moving or taking damage during those 3 seconds cancels it. If your friend is in a world you cannot enter, you are sent back to the lobby after teleporting.

Viewing friends and help

Use this command to see your friend list and incoming requests.

/friend list

Online friends have a green dot (●). Offline friends have a gray dot (●).

For help, enter /friend without a name or subcommand.

Removing a friend

Use this command to end a friendship.

/friend remove <player>

Removal is free and requires action from only one player. If the other player is online, they receive a chat notification. The original 500-Spa-Coin fee is not refunded.

You cannot remove a friend while anything remains in the shared chest or while either player has it open. Empty the chest and close it first.
