Jobs

Illustrations and screenshots may show Japanese labels. The text below explains the same features in English.

Register your usual activities as a job to earn Spa Coins and experience for eligible actions.

Jobs overview: browse jobs, join with a command, and work in the Building World or resource worlds to earn money and experience

Important rules

  • Ordinary players can have 1 job at a time.
  • You may change jobs whenever you like.
  • Every job has a maximum level of 200.
  • Rewards are available in the Building World and resource worlds, including Resource Server 2, Resource Nether, and Resource End. The lobby is excluded.
  • Regular job income has an hourly limit.

Finding a job

/jobs browse

The menu shows job descriptions. Click the job you want to join it immediately.

When using commands, enter the job ID from the table below instead of its display name.

Job list

Job ID Display name Main activity
brewer 醸造家 (Brewer) Brewing potions
builder 建築家 (Builder) Building structures
crafter クラフター (Crafter) Crafting items
digger 掘削者 (Digger) Excavating and landscaping
enchanter エンチャンター (Enchanter) Enchanting items
explorer 探検家 (Explorer) Exploring the map
farmer 農家 (Farmer) Growing crops and raising livestock
fisherman 釣り人 (Fisherman) Fishing
hunter ハンター (Hunter) Killing animals and monsters
miner 採掘家 (Miner) Mining ores and blocks
weaponsmith 武器職人 (Weaponsmith) Crafting and repairing weapons and armor
woodcutter 木こり (Woodcutter) Cutting logs and planting trees

Although Builder is themed around construction, simply placing blocks does not earn regular rewards.

This prevents earning money by repeatedly placing and breaking the same blocks.

However, block placement required by a Builder daily quest does count toward that quest.

Joining and leaving jobs

Use this command to join a job.

/jobs join <job-id>

For example:

/jobs join miner

To leave a job:

/jobs leave <job-id>

To leave all jobs:

/jobs leaveall

Switching to another job

Because you can hold only 1 job, leave your current job before joining another.

  1. Leave your current job.

    /jobs leave <current-job-id>
  2. Join the new one.

    /jobs join <new-job-id>

There is no waiting period between these two commands.

However, rejoining the same job you just left requires a 10-second wait. If an immediate attempt fails, wait briefly and try again.

Does switching jobs reduce or reset my old job level?

No. Switching jobs does not reduce the old job’s level.

This server uses Jobs Reborn, which saves each job’s level separately.

Job levels: Jobs

  • Your current job’s level is preserved when you switch.
  • The new job resumes at the level you previously reached in that job, or Lv1 if it is your first time.

For example, switching from Miner Lv50 to Farmer starts Farmer at Lv1 or its previous level. Returning to Miner later restores Lv50.

The switching restrictions are the 10-second same-job wait above and the daily quest reward limit, which is once per day across all jobs.

Server levels: McLevel

The Lv1, Lv2, and Lv3 shown by /level are a separate player-level system. They depend on active playtime, advancements, and self-earned income, and do not decrease when you change jobs.

Why the displayed level may look lower

After switching, the screen shows the new job’s level. A lower number does not mean your old progress was lost. Check your current job level with /jobs stats.

Checking levels and rewards

/jobs stats

This shows your job levels, experience, and current job.

For details about a specific job, use:

/jobs info <job-id>

Rewards are paid automatically when you perform an eligible action.

What higher job levels do

Higher job levels increase the Spa Coins paid for the same action.

Experience per action stays the same. The experience needed for each next level increases, so later levels take longer.

Higher job levels also increase your hourly income limit.

Ranks and titles

Reaching certain job levels increases your rank. In game, ranks are displayed as letters such as N, A, and I, rather than Japanese titles.

Display Rank Required job level
N Novice Lv0, on joining
A Apprentice Lv25
I Initiate Lv50
J Journeyman Lv75
Ad Adept Lv100
M Master Lv125
GM Grand Master Lv150
L Legend Lv200

The job level shown by /jobs stats advances numerically from 1 to 200. Ranks mark milestones along the way.

Hourly income limit

Regular job rewards have an hourly money limit. Once you reach it, no further regular rewards are paid until it resets.

The limit is 600 Spa Coins + your current job level × 5 Spa Coins. At job level 30, for example, it is 750 Spa Coins.

The hour starts when you first receive a job reward. After 1 hour, it resets and you can earn up to the limit again.

Check your current limit, remaining allowance, and time until reset with:

/jobs limit

Only regular job rewards count toward this limit. Daily quest rewards, login rewards, invitation rewards, and request, auction, and shop transactions are excluded.

Daily quests

Each job offers 1 quest per day.

/jobs quests

New quests are assigned and quest contents reset at 04:00 Japan Standard Time (JST).

Completing a quest currently pays 100 Spa Coins. This also counts toward the cumulative self-earned income required for Lv2 and Lv3 in the player-level system.

Only one quest reward per day

You may switch jobs and complete another job’s quest, but the 100-Spa-Coin reward is available only once per day across all jobs.

Further quests pay no Spa Coins even if completed. The next day’s reward becomes available after the reward limit resets at 03:00 JST. New quest assignment itself happens at 04:00 JST.

There is no daily quest skip feature.

When rewards are reduced or unavailable

Rewards may be reduced or unavailable in these situations.

  • Working in the lobby, rather than the Building World or resource worlds
  • Playing in creative mode
  • Exploring while flying or gliding
  • Killing monsters near spawners: rewards are about 30% of normal, rather than zero
  • Mining stone, cobblestone, or basalt generated where lava and water meet, including generated stone moved by pistons. Naturally generated stone and player-placed stone can pay, subject to the reuse rules below.
  • Already being at job level 200
  • Reaching the hourly income limit
  • Working with blocks, items, or mobs that the job does not cover
  • Breaking manually placed blocks or repeatedly mining the same location, as described under Block placement and reuse restrictions below

If rewards seem missing, first check the world and game mode. Then try /jobs stats, /jobs info <job-id>, and /jobs limit.

Block placement and reuse restrictions

All jobs have protections against placing blocks yourself and breaking them to farm money.

The first 3 seconds after placement or breaking

A block is ineligible for rewards for 3 seconds after placement and for 3 seconds after breaking.

Rapidly repeating placement and breaking does not generate money.

Reused ores and logs, and tree growth

Locations such as manually placed blocks are recorded as ineligible for rewards.

Target Behavior
Logs, Woodcutter Breaking logs you placed yourself does not pay. However, a sapling growing into a tree clears the restriction at that location, so cutting the grown tree pays normally.
Ores, Miner Manually placed ores and locations where ore regenerates, such as through Nether lava mechanics, do not pay.
