Wealth tax

A weekly tax is automatically collected from eligible players whose balance exceeds 10,000 Spa Coins.

Why this tax exists

It gradually removes some of the money that accumulates in a small number of accounts, helping prevent an ever-growing money supply from undermining prices and value.

Taxed money is removed from circulation. It is not paid to anyone.

How the amount is calculated

The tax is 3% of the portion of your balance shown by /balance above 10,000 Spa Coins.

Fractions below 1 Spa Coin are rounded down. Players with 10,000 Spa Coins or less pay nothing.

For example, a balance of 30,000 Spa Coins produces a tax of (30,000 − 10,000) × 3% = 600 Spa Coins.

When it is collected

Tax is collected every Monday at 05:00 (Japan Standard Time, JST).

It is collected only once per week. Restarting the server does not charge it again. The first collection is at 05:00 on Monday, October 12, 2026.

Who is included

Players who have logged in since the previous collection are eligible.

This includes players online at collection time. Players who have not logged in at all during that week are not taxed. For the first collection, eligible players are those who logged in on or after October 5, 2026 at 05:00 JST.

Tax notifications

A chat message tells you how much was collected.

If you were offline when it was collected, the message arrives the next time you log in.
